After someone creating a thread that screams, "Help Garithos", signed by 500 players and viewed 2500 times, the thread was locked by reaching it's reply limit. We're still looking for support and we hope to remain on the first page of the suggestion forums until either: 1) A GM/CM/Dev respond to our request on the forums or 2) Transfers are opened to Garithos and the other dying low-population servers.
It's rather simple: Allow players of PvP Servers that have nightly queues the option to transfer to a low population PvP Server without being penalized by the transfer fees. If players and Guilds transfer then all servers and players will benefit. High-pop servers will experience more stability in their server and less queue times. Those transferring will experience NO queues to log in, NO lag from server overload, a tighter community and the chance to be at the forefront of progression on a server that NEEDS people for PvP and PvE Progression. Garithos would benefit by having a fresh community... we'd finally have people to party with and guilds might actually get some recruitment opportunities.
I think we're all in agreement that there IS a problem with the low-population servers. Clearly Blizzard made an error in forecasting when they opened more realms than they could fill. I'm aware that it was done so there could be room for expansion... but, where is this influx of players? Players are leaving the game, daily, and the future is grim as the horizon shows several promising MMOs. Its not hard to imagine the devastating impact this could have on low population servers as players leave for new games.
Again, could you please look into the population issues on low-population servers and quickly find a resolution to their condition? Also, please give some recognition to this issue - OT, Main Page, In-game, e-mail, realm forums... something... just let us know you're hearing us.
On behalf of Garithos and its dwindling population.
